I must say that it was quite the Eatery! Started with the Wedding Soup, which was very good. However, my mom order the Lobster Bisque, which was extremely salty. She had to watch her salt intake. Nonetheless, they accommodated and brought the Wedding Soup instead. The House Table Salad was HUGE and beautifully done. We ordered 2 for a table of 10 and it was still a lot left. Everyone ordered differently. The Staff was friendly and on top of everything!! I give SHELLYS a strong 10 Stars!!
Stopped by here driving through town and was very glad I did. The atmosphere is very friendly and overall has a warm vibe. I sat at a table by the bar and was greeted quickly by a knowledgeable server that reviewed the menu and highlighted some of the local specials. Huge menu by the way see the pictures. I stuck with the basics in order a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage - it was outstanding 4.8 out of 5. May not be the type of pizza everyone likes, but I loved it. The pizza was huge. The picture does not do it justice. But more than the size..,the taste for me was what won me over. A great complementary combination of pizza crust, sauce, healthy amount of great cheese, and a small truckload of high-quality meats (not the stuff you get at chains - this is good stuff!). It was a killer meal, appetizer, main course, and dessert all in one. 100% Satisfying. Some other reviewers commented on the Pizza being greasy and doughy and a little messy. And they may be correct, but for me it was a slice of heaven and I really enjoyed. The pizza was the perfect amount of chewy and crispy it was doughy but definitely not too doughy. Yes it was somewhat greasy but with a huge quantity of meat, which I found outstanding, what do you expect? And yes, when the pizza was piping hot, I used a fork a bit to help out, but it was well worth it. If I had a critique, maybe they could cut the pizza on a piece of cardboard or a wooden cutting board to let some of the grease find its way away from center pie. But this is a minor nit picky thing. I thoroughly enjoyed the food that was served. And the next time I pass through Turtle Crik I will definitely be back. - can’t wait to give some other items on the menu or try. Kudos, nice place to go and experience, friendly fast service, and great food. They deserve and delivered 5 STARS
Should you really enjoy a great pie along with fast friendly service by Lee in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, you must share Shelly Pie, which we would recommend. They offer traditional and Sicilian style pizzas and other Italian favorites to savor. The bar is stocked and has many beers on draft, as well as a large variety of cocktails.
I happened upon this place unexpectedly. What a pleasant surprise! The exterior of the place belies. Its welcoming atmosphere on the inside. The menu for pizza was quite extensive. You have an infinite choice of toppings. In addition, the traditional pies compete with the Sicilian pies for your taste buds, so we got both. The Sicilian pie was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The dough is fantastic and the cheese they use is out of this world. Coupled with sausage it makes an exquisite dining experience. The pies were so good. We had to take one home with us. The menu states that no two pies are the same and you can believe it. It has that bread-like puffed crust which is just fantastic. Overall, I highly recommended gem of a pizza place in an area that you would not expect it to be. It's worth your trip to go there.
The pizza was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, generous toppings, and rich, flavorful sauce. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast even during a busy rush.

Service and speedy service coupled with and amazing amount of topping loaded with delicious cheese to satisfy my true pizza craving experience. Thank you for the outstanding food! I WILL BE BACK REPEATEDLY!
Shelly Pie has an enjoyable setting, and a clean historical venue. On top of the beautiful location, we ordered a medium pizza with sausage, pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms. Yum and double yum!!! A side of marinara and it was supper for five! I would have chosen to dine there, but I got take out. No problem. We shall return to this Turtle Creeks iconic pizza joint.
You either hate Shelly's Pizza or love it! I love it! It's doughy and perfect amount of carbs on carbs and a small pizza will take you a long way after a night out. I love the prices as they're affordable, the people are nice and treat you like they care about the brand, and the diner feel makes you feel like you're welcomed. They also have free parking which is absolutely hard to find now a days.
